A big thanks to everyone who came to Concrete Hermit last night for Richard Hogg’s Nobrow Small Press book launch. Beers were drunk and books were bought! For those of you that couldn’t make it the book is now available online, so get one while you still can.


Richard Hogg Book Launch

cover1Stormtroopers, Ethnic sculptures, dusty paperback copies of Moby Dick, and Autumnal Sputniks can all be found gracing the pages of Richard Hogg’s Small Press book Car Boot Sale. The book visits one of Britain’s favourite past times, and the often kooky characters that can be found peddling their equally quirky possessions in car parks and disused airstrips throughout the land.

Richard’s 16 page, 5 colour hand-printed volume will be launched at the closing party of his Of The Wall exhibition at Concrete Hermit from 6 - 9.30pm on Thursday 27th August.

The screenprinted book is available in a limited edition of only 100 copies, all signed and numbered by the artist.


Vendoin to press!!

quablioqueg3We loved Joe Crocker’s idea for his first small press book from the second we saw the first drawings, but now that it has been sent to press we can see it will be a really stunning book!

Printed in three colours, Crocker’s ‘Vendoin’ will also be our very first small press book selling for the affrodable price of £30 (due to the limited colour palette) and will be available to pre-order starting early next week. It is sure to sell fast so keep your eyes peeled for more release updates!

Lake Como Drawings

Consisting of five panoramas drawn over five days, Paddy Molloy's Lake Como Drawings follows a short journey through the Italian town of Torno situated on Lake Como. Originally produced between intermittent rainstorms in graphite and pencil in his sketchbook, the collected work has been compiled into a beautiful 16 page book for Nobrow Small Press set to be released in late November.
