A. Richard Allen
Richard’s diversity and talent as an editorial illustrator is shown by his extended list of clients such as The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph and Esquire among others. He is also the holder of two Gold medals at the UK’s Association of Illustrators.
Alex Bland
Alex is an exciting young illustrator/film maker. He recently graduated from University West England with a BA in Animation and Illustration. Alex enjoys creating atmospheric, nostalgic and evocative pieces of work, using a variety of media and mixing different techniques.
Blex Bolex
Blexbolex is a multi-award winning French book illustrator working out of Berlin. His stylish and original work has been part of books such as Popo Color, Fusée, Ferraille and Comix 2000. His experimental approach to combining illustration with industrial printing techniques and book production makes him a true pioneer in his field.
Paul Blow
Paul is an exciting and multi award winning editorial illustrator, with a wide range of clients such as Time Magazine, The Guardian, The independent, The Times and BBC Worldwide. Paul finds editorial work rewarding as it enables him to use his illustrations to tell complex and gripping narratives. In 2006 he received a Gold Award for editorial illustration from the Association of Illustrators.
Jordan Crane
Jordan creates screen prints, comics and illustrations from his studio in Los Angeles. Jordan has also set up his own press, Red Ink, which is also a record label. His regularly published Fantagraphics comic ‘Uptight’ is mandatory reading for any alternative comic freak. He has recently designed the praised book cover for Michael Chabon’s ‘Maps and Legends’.
Joseph Crocker
Joe graduated from Brighton University in 2008. His unique approach to drawing combined with the bold use of vibrant colour gives his work a very distinct style. With an eye on the unusual and the other somewhere else; Joe enjoys life living and working in Brighton although he is very concerned about the price of ink.
Owen Gildersleeve
Designer and illustrator Owen Gildersleeve grew up in the small village of Wedmore in the South West of England, where he spent most of his time running around fields and building tree houses. Owen now lives and works London, and has built up an impressive client list as well as being featured in various magazines worldwide. Alongside working at Nobrow he is one quarter of the Evening Tweed design collective.

Benjamin Guedel
Benjamin is based in Switzerland but has clients from all over the world including Time Out London, Carhartt, Der Spiegel and Greenpeace. His work can be seen in all it’s glory in the brilliant graphic anthology Blood, Sweat and Tears published by Gestalten.
Jens Harder
Jens has authored several important graphic novels including Électricité Marseille and the prize winning Leviathan. He is also one of the founders of the artist’s group Monogatari. Jens currently lives and works in Berlin.
Leah Hayes
On graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2003 Leah published Holy Moly, her first graphic novel with Fantagraphics. This was closely followed her second title Funeral of the Heart. Leah’s use of ballpoint pen and her sketchbook/diary approach creates dark but compelling stories. When Leah is not illustrating she forms part of the Brooklyn band Scary Mansion.
Carl Johanson
Swedish illustrator Carl is a recent graduate of the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm (Konstfack) and has already contributed designs to numerous products and shows. He has work archived at The Drawing Center in New York and was recently awarded with ‘Kolla’ – the Swedish National Prize for Drawing. Carl lives and works in Paris.
Sarah King
A recent Graphics graduate of Brighton University, Sarah set up design collective ‘Evening Tweed’ with fellow graduates. Sarah’s work has featured in Vice Magazine and The Guardian amongst many others. Her hand rendered typographical illustrations are truly innovative, giving her a very distinct personal style.
Stuart Kolakovic
Since graduating from Kingston University Illustration degree Stuart has been nothing short of prolific. His graduation piece Milorad, a graphic novel about his Yugoslavian grandfather, won him the D&AD New Blood Award 2007. He is currently working on a comic book whilst adding to an already impressive list of editorial and advertising clients.
Toby Leigh
Toby has been chalking up magazine editorial illustration since leaving his degree in Manchester in 2000 with regular contributions to The Guardian, The Times and The Independent. His foray into advertising includes work for clients such as Playstation, Vodafone and Channel 4. His range of illustrated tea towels celebrating the culinary delights of Great Britain, which includes kebabs, battered Mars Bars and Special Brew, are a particular treat. Toby lives and works in London.
Bjorn Rune Lie
Bjorn is a Bristol based illustrator and designer originally from Norway. Some of his most exciting work includes collaborations with American Letterpress and print shop Yee-Haw Industries, with whom he has had a long association. He also works illustrating children’s books and often features in the pages of our daily quality press.
McBess
McBess is a recent graduate of the celebrated CG animation school Supinfocom in France. He is currently putting the finishing touches to his latest short film, and is an in-house animation director and character designer at London’s postproduction and special effects company The Mill.
Ben Newman
Based in Bristol, Ben works as freelance illustrator and is a compulsive character drawer. He has exhibited his work in Europe, the USA and all over the UK. Ben’s work is influenced by mid-20th century design, comic books and pulp detective novels. His work has been described as ‘radically fuzzy felt bauhaus-folk illustration’.
Emiliano Ponzi
Emiliano is an award winning illustrator based in Milan. His impressive client list includes The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Le Monde, The Boston Globe and advertising clients too numerous to mention. And if that’s not enough, he just picked up an Art Directors Club ‘Young Guns 2008’ award for Illustration.
Reuben Rude
Reuben is an illustrator and artist based in San Francisco. He is a regular collaborator with product and designer toy emporium StrangeCo. In recent years he has been building a reputation as an artist taking part in numerous group shows all over the US.
Brett Ryder
Brett has always had a fascination with bygone medical journals, dusty advertising boards and the Haynes BSA 650 manual. Such an assortment of taste in fine Illustration combined with an ability to replace a four cylinder manifold with only a few “minor” screws left over was always destined to have a profound influence on his work.
Dave Taylor
Dave started out as a professional drummer in 1986 and then after 3 years of heavy tours he made the switch to comic book artist working for Marvel UK. Several years later he became a regular Batman artist for DC and now he’s a contributor to 2000AD comics. With over 20 years of experience Dave is an old school comic book hero of the drawing and inking kind. He lives and works in Liverpool.
Nick White
Nick uses found imagery with drawing & painting. His motifs mingle symbols and signs and plucked from their original contexts they combine in unexpected combinations. Nick completed an Illustration BA in 2004 at Kingston University. From then on he has worked as a skilled ninja, pastry chef and illustrator. Nick lives, works, nun-chuks and bakes in London.
Caspar Williamson
Caspar Williamson is a recent graduate of Camberwell College of Art. When he isn’t touring with his band or screenprinting new work he’s creating artwork for various music industry clients.
