Since May 2010, the Nobrow Shop has sold the finest art books, kids books, comics and zines from around the world. Behind this renowned bookshop on Great Eastern Street is the publishing house Nobrow Press, publisher of some of the most beautiful books in existence. Nobrow believes in publishing beautiful books, which inspire and entertain people of all ages and can be cherished for a lifetime.
We are seeking a manager to manage the bricks and mortar Nobrow shop at 62 Great Eastern Street, London alongside Nobrow’s online store. The successful candidate will have at least two year’s retail experience and a flair for book buying. A knowledge and passion for Graphic novels, Children’s books and Art & Design is essential.Experience of running successful in-store events, managing online retail and social media promotion is desirable.

Promotion of shop and online store via social media channels
Start date: 1st December 2013 (flexible)
Hours: 45 hours a week

US (NYC) Office Manager
Nobrow US Inc are seeking an Office Manager to help run their new New York office. The position would suit a graduate with a minimum of 2 years experience working in relevant positions. Experience in the publishing industry is preferable.
The successful candidate will be an extremely organised and highly-motivated individual with excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Experience of creating and maintaining spreadsheets, calendars and basic bookkeeping is essential. He or she will also have excellent filing skills and a pleasant telephone manner. Management of post/deliveries, tracking shipments, managing the everyday utilities and general running of a small office is the mainstay of the job.
The role will be mainly administrative but as the new office has a small staff in its first year the successful applicant should be prepared to get involved with other tasks assisting the Creative and Sales & Marketing Directors.
Salary upon enquiry. Office hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic students to help us out with all sorts of projects and events. Due to the progressive nature of the company and the varied projects at hand, you will be expected to be quite flexible.
Please be aware that we can only offer internships to students looking for placements as part of a university course. After we have reviewed your application, and if it is successful, we will then require a letter from your university to show that you are enrolled on a course.
