Gemini South is located in the Andes at an elevation of 2737 meters. When paired with it’s twin, Hawaii’s Gemini North, this telescope is capable of accessing the entire sky.

This is one of a series of six prints Rob Hunter made of various observatories for the Murmuring Landscape exhibition which ran in our gallery from November 2010 until January 2011. Each beautiful four colour screen-print is an edition of less than 10 and is 20 x 25cm.
