The Hobby Elberly Telescope in West Texas was designed and constructed with a unique objective: to gather a very large amount of light. It is currently the world’s fourth largest optical telescope.
This is one of a series of six prints Rob Hunter made of various observatories for the Murmuring Landscape exhibition which ran in our gallery from November 2010 until January 2011. Each beautiful four colour screen-print is an edition of less than 10 and is 20 x 25cm.
